25 - Week 4 2ieme: Worth it's weight in gold - Geneve

 Tuesday, March 18

It was a good day at work, a bit more time to continue sifting through the info I've received thus far and had a follow up conversation with one of the chemists.  Turns out, he'd studied chemical engineering at the undergrad level followed by a masters in organic chemistry: it shouldn't have made much of a difference but I couldn't help but feel like I was talking with someone who's path was a reflection of my own.  I've no regrets with my career path and have gotten very comfortable with being a chemical engineer who leaves chemistry to chemists 😂, but I'm sure, now more than ever, that it'll be a huge boon if I can shore up enough on the chemistry side to at least ask relevant questions.

I'd intended to go swimming this evening but ended up getting home too late for it.  It's a shame, I'd planned on a very hearty dinner but why should I let missing my exercise get in the way of that 😆

For dinner, a 300g Mont d'Or roasted in the oven until it turned into a personal fondue in a wooden pot.  With a glass of sparkling white to cut across the richness, this was truly a great meal. 😋

I've been taking advantage of my bathroom's towel warming rack to finish drying the socks and underwear the laundry dryer doesn't complete dessicate.
